Sonia Chimona is a member of the GIWA committee, supporting voluntarily the program by providing strategic and marketing guidance.
She feels very passionately about how all women deserve equal opportunities to showcase any type of talent, get rewarded and recognized for it. She considers GIWA to be a powerful platform allowing women worldwide to celebrate their successes and empower more women to follow their example.
Sonia has 15 years of broad international marketing experience and currently holds the position of Senior Marketing Strategist at BT Group, leading on multi-billion projects for BT and EE brands. Prior to BT she has worked in key strategy and marketing positions for brands such as Cannes Lions Festival, Vodafone, Clarins, JWT, Publicis and Cisco.
Sonia holds an MSc in Marketing Management from University of Surrey, and a BA in Business Administration from Athens University of Economics & Business.
