Maria Sarantopoulou is a member of the GIWA project and provides voluntary support, handling marketing and operational matters. She is a freelance marketing consultant with strong experience in the events & hospitality industry. Maria has been the Senior Marketing Manager at SWOT | Hospitality Management Company that operates in four areas of expertise: Hotel Management, Sales & Marketing Services, Advisory Services and Asset & Investment Management. Prior to this, she has been the Marketing Manager of Grace Hotel, part of Auberge Resorts Collection, a portfolio of extraordinary hotels, resorts, residences and private clubs. Maria has worked in different hotel departments such as Food and Beverage and Human Resources and in a Destination Marketing Agency in order to understand the multifaceted nature of hospitality. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Tourism and Hospitality Management.
