
Georgia Gavriilidou is a founding member of the GIWA awards and supports voluntarily the GIWA’s project management. Her involvement is primarily driven from her determination to help women fulfil their dreams and shutter, in the process, the glass ceiling. Georgia is a solicitor and currently holds the position of Legal Adviser at the European Medicines Agency (EMA) where she handles pharmaceutical and horizontal topics, as well as represents the EMA before the Court of Justice of the European Union. Before joining the Legal Department of the EMA, Georgia was working for a number of years as an Associate in a law firm in London. Georgia holds an LLB (University of Athens) and an LLM (University of Kent) in Medical Law and Ethics.
